Synopsis
Phoebe enters a clinic expecting to become a surrogate for John and Nora, while Oscar Sinclair has selected Abby to carry the heir he needs to protect his position in the company. A procedural mistake changes both plans: instead of the intended embryo transfer, Phoebe receives artificial insemination with Oscar's sperm. She is suddenly connected to a pregnancy neither she nor Oscar arranged.
With his heir now tied to Phoebe, Oscar turns to a contract marriage to ensure she keeps the baby. Their arrangement begins under pressure, with Phoebe's original commitment and Oscar's plans thrown off course. As they try to navigate this unwanted pairing, the story draws on misunderstandings, an age-gap romance, and Oscar's desire to get back at his ex. The opening conflict asks whether a practical agreement can hold when its foundation is an accident.
